Director of Membership & Administration –Alyssa Nachbaur
Alyssa spent her summers growing up at Minisink. She started working at Minisink in 2006 as an assistant tennis instructor. She has previously been our Head of Administration and Camp Director.
Alyssa is currently a high school math and computer science teacher at Bridgewater-Raritan Regional High School. She graduated from TCNJ with a degree in Math and Education and has her Masters in Education from Marygrove University.

Pool Manager- Lauren Hauser
She holds certifications as a Certified Pool Manager, First Aid/CPR/AED, Water Safety Instructor, and Epi-Pen administration with over a decade of pool management experience.
She is currently a Physical Education, Health and Drivers Theory teacher at Westfield High School.
She graduated from Rowan University with both a Bachelor’s degree in Health and Exercise Science as well as a Masters degree in Wellness and Lifestyle Management and is currently completing additional in graduate credits and a supervisory certification.
Lauren has previous coaching experience in swimming, softball, and soccer.
Assistant Pool Manager- Al Hauser
Al is a retired teacher, coach, and administrator from the Montville School System.
He holds certifications as a Certified Pool Operator as well as CPR/AED with over 35 years of pool management experience.
He graduated from Glassboro State College with a Bachelor’s degree in Health, Physical Education and Traffic Safety.
He holds a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from William Paterson University, with a Principal and Supervisor Certification.
Assistant Pool Manager & Swim Coach- Moira Horan
Moira learned to swim at Minisink as a child and swam competitively at the Madison and Summit Area YMCAs for twelve years. She was part of Chatham High School’s County, Sectional, and State Championship teams. Moira studies Communication at Villanova University, where she swims on the Wildcats’ club team and is the Director of Administration for Special Olympics. Moira looks forward to returning as head coach for the Manta Rays and an assistant pool manager at Minisink!

Camp Director- Samantha Guider
Sam grew up in Chatham and she learned how to swim right here at Minisink! Sam was a camp counselor and a member of our front desk staff here during her summers in college.
Sam attended the University of Vermont where she received her Bachelor’s degree in both Elementary and Special Education. After graduating she spent one year teaching English in Thailand to elementary-aged students. Now she teaches 1st Grade in Burlington, Vermont. She enjoys hiking, snowboarding, and camping.
Sam is excited to spend the summer where she grew up and join the Minisink team once again!
